Pat and Allan, Solfun's founders and Moab tour guides extraordinaire, took their first Moab vacation as backpackers in the Needles, falling in love with Moab's mystical, unique and ethereal surroundings. They discovered the world-class Moab bike trails more than 20 years ago, and never looked back. Pat and Allan left their nine-to five jobs to start up Solfun Mountain Bike Adventures, leading Moab bike tours, eight years ago. The sport of mountain biking has provided many powerful life experiences and creating Solfun has been their way of sharing and giving back to the sport.
